 | GSD is very proud to announce the availability of two new products aimed specifically at the medical industry. These products are a result of many years of involvement within the clinical trials environement and working with recognised medical experts within this field. GSD has worked closely with Wits Health Consortium (www.witshealth.co.za) on both these products and it has been as a result of this relationship that these products are now available. Both these products are designed and developed using Microsoft® .NET framework for Windows® based forms, the latest development platform from Microsoft. The products are shipped with the stand alone Microsoft SQL Server Express database but can also use an existing instance of Microsoft SQL Server. |
Medical Project and Trial data repository The Medical Project and Trial data repository captures research information, expertise details and institutional demographics for medical projects and trials. Initially developed to capture information around HIV and Aids projects in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region it is able to capture any project related information with medical outcomes. Relations are held between the projects, the experts involved on these projects and the institutions where they are undertaken. Additional information related to the projects such as medical publications, conferences, training courses associated with the research, is also documented. |  | Patient Medical Repository The Patient Medical Repository provides the facility to capture diagnostic, user defined parameter based outcomes, medication and treatment planning for example the management and recording of procedures and referals. The flexible user definable system enables any type of patient treatment to be profiled and searched to get information on trends and treatments. It is specifically designed as a patient profiling system as opposed to traditional medical systems which are centered around billing and associated medical aid refunds and payment.
